Anyway, the irony of this story must taste sweet for the bloke who has battling bureaucracy for a verdict on whether or not produce from Gladstone Harbour is safe to eat but the best he can get is that if it looks ok, it should be ok (very scientific answer considering high levels of mercury, aluminimum, copper, manganese, arsenic and other chemicals have been found in some local seafood. So he won't sell any of it here but some is being sent south to other markets where the buyers would be none the wiser.
